On Friday my good friend, Jessica and her family came for a visit. She called me earlier in the week, and asked if we had anything going on because they were coming to visit. I was completely shocked at first because I couldn't believe that they were actually wanting to come see us. We were all so excited and couldn't wait for Friday. The girls asked everyday if the Yates were coming. They got here on Friday, and we showed them our house, and then just sat around visiting while the kids swam, jumped on the tramp, and played. After dinner we took them for a drive to show them the town, and then we stopped at one of the parks for a few minutes to let the kids play before heading home and making shakes. Scout, Tegan, Madelyn, and Jenna all decided that they wanted to sleep on the trampoline that night so Justin stayed out there with them. Since our yard isn't fenced we aren't comfortable with them being out there alone.
Saturday we woke up, had breakfast and then let the kids play outside again. When lunch time rolled around we decided to go get something to eat. We went to Dairy Queen for lunch, and then went to Walmart to get some ice cream for the kids before coming home. We ate our ice cream and visited for a little bit longer before it was time for the Yates to leave. It was really hard to say goodbye, but we had a great time, and I know that we will get to see them again soon. We sure are glad that they came to visit...thanks for coming to see us!
