HAPPY EASTER!

Today was a GREAT day!! We had a wonderful day as a family today. First, we went to an Easter egg hunt at the University. The girls had a lot of fun!! We got quite a bit of snow last night and they were troopers out there looking for eggs in the snow. The hunt went pretty fast, and then when we were done we went to the Union for hot chocolate and cookies. It was there that we looked through our eggs. Some of the eggs had big prizes in them. We didn't win anything, but we did get coupons for free cold stone ice cream, YUMMY!! We also got to see the Easter Bunny. Scout screamed her head off if Justin went anywhere near him (it was really funny) so he took a picture of me and Tegan. Even Tegan was a little shy at first, and then she warmed up to him in the end. When we were done at the University we went to an Easter Carnival. It was fun, but by the end the girls were exhausted, and we were ready to go home and rest. Tegan and I came home and boiled the eggs so that we could color them later. She was so excited, and could hardly wait until she could color them. Finally, it was time to color them, and she was a pro. She zipped right through her eggs, which made it nice that we didn't have to wait forever for her to finish. So we had a busy, but very fun day. I am a little sad to not be with my family for Easter this year. We always do a big Easter egg hunt for the kids, and my Mom cooks a yummy meal. I hope they are all having a wonderful Easter, and I love you all.
