Swings, and Praying!

Today was finally nice again, and the girls spent a lot of time on the swing set. I finally got a picture of Scout sitting on the swing. She was scared to hang on so she just sat there holding on for dear life to her cup, and blanket. At times she would even let our a little giggle, but was still unsure of whether or not she liked it. I'm not worried she has all summer to enjoy her swing.
I thought this was a cute picture of Tegan sliding down the stairs the other night in her sleeping bag.

And now for the whole reason for this post...Yesterday, after we were done with FHE we told Scout to fold her arms and close her eyes so that we could say prayer. She closed her eyes halfway, and folded her arms. I looked up during the prayer, and Scout is headed over to the bookshelf to grab a book. She tries to carry the book back to her seat with her arms folded, and her eyes halfway closed...because that makes it okay, right?? I wanted to laugh so hard, and at that moment I wished I had my camera or better yet a video of it. So this evening I told her it was time to say prayer, and before we started I took this picture. For 18 months I think she is doing great!!!

Very Cute! That picture makes all the struggles of FHE and family prayers and all the other teaching moments we have, worth it! So precious. By the way your girls are gorgeous!

That picture of them folding their arms is so cute. Jordan has been folding his arms lately, but like Scout, he doesn't talk a bunch. He does grunt. :o) He wants to do everything Abby and Brinly do, even pray....You can imagine!! It's 20 seconds of grunting. Funny though. :o)
