Today, we decided to go to the St. Patrick's Day parade, and street fair. It was supposed to be a nice day, and I just really wanted to get out, and do something as a family. We decided to invite some friends, and we headed downtown. It was A LOT of fun! We got to the parade early so we could find a spot, and just visit until it started. When the parade started the girls were so excited. They just stood out in the street catching candy. Anneke said Josie had never been to a parade before, and honestly I think that little girl was in HEAVEN. She got a soda, and was sitting watching the parade, while the girls would help her get candy...she was loving life!:) After the parade we headed over to the street fair, and bought the girls tickets for the games that they had. Walmart was in charge of the games, and the tickets weren't very much so we got the girls some tickets for each of the games. The prizes for the games were the left over Valentines candy from Walmart, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk, and some of the booths weren't just handing out one prize so the girls got TONS of candy. After playing games we decided that we were hungry so we got a hot dog, chips and a soda from the Walmart people. It really was a perfect day with perfect weather, and great friends!
Waiting for the parade to start
Scout getting her ponytails spray painted green
Tegan getting her hair spray painted pink
making bracelets
Eating more candy instead of their lunch
Now, those are some CUTE girls! Josie, is one of my little Sunbeams, I just adore her!
