MY WONDERFUL FAMILY

MY WONDERFUL FAMILY

The Fair, And All It Has To Offer...

Last Saturday we took the girls to the fair. They have been begging since the little carnival was here at the beginning of the summer. I am not a fan of carnivals or carnival rides so we talked them into waiting. Well, when they saw that the fair was here they were not going to let us get out of taking them. We waited until the last day to go, mostly because I think we thought if we put it off long enough they would forget. No such luck so we ended up taking them. Justin's parents' came with us, and we had a great time. Tegan was SO excited to ride on the rides. Scout didn't seem to be as excited. So the first ride that Justin took Tegan on was the scrambler! Seriously, she had the worst look on her face during the ride. She did not like it at all! I am such a terrible mom, I just stood there on the side laughing because her face was so funny. After that ride she wasn't so sure that she liked the rides. We decided to go find the kid rides and give those a try. It was interesting to watch Scout, who doesn't like stuff like this absolutely LOVE the rides. She thought they were great, and would smile, and scream, and just had a great time. Then there is Tegan who we would have thought would love the rides, and she didn't really care for them. She closed her eyes, and you could see her concentrating on her breathing during the rides. We would just stand there and laugh at her because it was so funny to watch!:) After the rides we went and listened to some guy sing, and got something to eat, and then we went and watching this little monkey show that was pretty interesting. After that we decided we were done, and headed home. Like I said, I really am not a fan of carnivals and things, but we really did have a good time! Here are a couple pictures of the girls on a couple of the rides.
