For our long awaited family vacation to Disneyland. This has been in the works for a LONG time. We are so glad for it to finally be here. We left last night at 8:00 and drove to Laramie. I was dreading the drive all day, but leaving so late the girls slept and we only stopped once. We got to my parents house at about 2:30 in the morning. I woke up this morning to my sister coming over to see us. It was great to see her I just wish I could have spent more time with her.
We left Laramie about 9:00 this morning and were on our way. We didn't make it far before we got stopped in a ton of traffic due to an accident, and the person having to be life flighted out. We thought we would be stopped longer but we weren't. It was kinda fun because everyone was out of their cars talking and visiting. Traffic was stopped on both sides. We got going after a little while and then later when we got to Utah we realized that something was wrong with my dads rear driveline u joint. We were so lucky to find an auto store open. They had the part and we went to the park to fix it. It only look about 30 minutes. The girls got to play at the playground while we fixed it. Luckily Justin has had lots of practise with this particular part and they had no trouble getting it fixed. Really, it was a great day, even with the hold-ups we had. The girls were troopers and we only had one melt down. We are looking forward to being in California tomorrow.
