So, our first day in Disneyland was Monday September 12. The girls were up early, and ready to go. After breakfast we took off, and were at Disneyland before 10 when they opened. We were all so excited, and just ready for a fun filled day. We had beautiful weather all 3 days we were there, and the lines for the rides were never really long. A few times we got off the ride, and then turned around and got right back on. It was absolutely PERFECT! I also have to say that Scout did amazing with the characters. She was terrified of Chip and Dale, but other than that she was okay. A couple of times she didn't want to stand right next to a certain character, but she didn't scream or throw a fit. She did great, and most of the time was so excited to meet what ever character we were seeing. This was a huge relief for me since Scout is terrified of everything...I say that with love!
The first thing we did after taking a couple of pictures was head right over to the Dumbo ride. The girls have been wanting to ride Dumbo since we told them we were going so that is the ride we went to first. Then we did the tea cups. I didn't go on that ride because of my motion sickness, but my mom and Justin took the girls. One thing we had to do, and we spent 40 minutes in line for, was to see the Princesses. This was the longest we waited in line for anything, but it was worth it because the girls were in heaven getting to meet some of the princesses! That was definitely a highlight. We rode all the rides we could and then about 3:00 we went back to our room and had lunch/dinner. My mom left about an hour before we did and made lunch for us so that when we got there it would be ready. We ate, and then we headed back to Disneyland for the rest of the evening. Monday night they had the parade so we took some time out to watch the parade. The girls LOVED the parade because of the music, and it gave them a chance to see the characters. After the parade we were able to ride a couple more rides, and then it was time to go. We were headed out, and I was noticing all the long lines still. I just mentioned that I wonder how that works when the park closes. We happened to be passing two men that work there, and so we stopped them to ask how that works with the people in line at closing. They said that as long as they are in line before then they can finish the ride. Then he said "Why, do you want to ride Peter Pan?" We said, "sure", and he took us through the back, and got us right on the ride. It was so fun, and was so nice of him to do. Peter pan ended up being one of Scout's favorite rides!:) Once we got back to the hotel Justin and the girls went swimming for awhile before coming back and crashing for the night. It was a good day!

So fun! That is awesome about getting the VIP treatment for the Peter Pan ride! I'm also glad that Scout didn't freak out with all the characters! I especially love what you said, "I say that with love"! Haha! Your girls are great!
