Going and looking at lights Thursday night didn't work out quite the way we had planned. We didn't end up leaving the house until about 6:30 and we didn't even get to the first house and Tegan was asleep. We tried to wake her to show her the house, but she didn't care, and she just wanted to sleep. So we decided to come home and try again Friday night. I should have known that I wouldn't work if we left so late. When Tegan doesn't get a nap, anytime we get in the car to go somewhere she falls asleep. Anyway, we left about 6:00 on Friday night, and she almost fell asleep again, but we caught her and we tried to find lots of houses to keep her busy. It worked and she stayed awake the whole time. Part of the time singing Christmas songs. Justin started singing to keep her awake. Then after awhile she told him to stop singing because she wanted to sing the song, and Justin could only talk to Scout. It was pretty funny. She didn't know all the words to the songs, but that would not keep her from singing!! Scout really enjoyed the lights. Every once in awhile we would hear her make a noise and point, but she just sat in her seat taking it all in, not making a sound.
Today Tegan got to go to school in her pajamas. She was so excited to wear her pj's and take her pillow and blanket. They were watching Ratatouille. Tegan has watched this movie a million times at home, thanks to Auntie Allison. But this did not stop her from being super excited about getting to watch it at school. She is out of school for 2 weeks. What are we going to do?
NEWS: We got word on the house yesterday. Things on the ladies part (she had some legal issues to deal with) are taken care of now it is up to us to get the ball rolling and then we will be the proud owners of our own house. I will go back to Billings after Christmas with Justin, and hopefully we will be able to make some decisions, and get things moving. We will keep you posted the next few weeks.
No pictures today, but I will post some tomorrow.
