Last night Tegan stayed the night with her Grandma and Grandpa Graham. It was a lot of fun to just get to spend some one on one time with Scout. Something that she doesn't get very often is one on one time with Justin and I. I think that she really enjoyed getting all the attention.
So everything was good until Justin's Mom called this morning and told us that Tegan never really slept last night. She slept from about 10:00 until 1:00, and then at 1:00 Grandpa had to take her downstairs, and they sat and watched t.v. the rest of the night. For some reason she would not go to sleep. This was crazy to hear because she has never done this before. By the time we got home she was so grouchy. Justin went in and laid with her on the bed so that she would take a nap. Finally, after a lot of crying she finally fell asleep. She slept until just after 5:00 when we had to start getting ready to go to Kyle and Janelle's for dinner and games.
When we got to the Wassmers Aubrey came running up to me so excited to show me the card that she made for Tegan. Tegan and Aubrey are so cute...they like to make cards and pictures for each other. We ate a wonderful dinner, it was so YUMMY, and then after dinner we played a game while the kids played. I was actually amazed at how well Tegan and Aubrey played together tonight. Since Tegan was up all last night, and she was grouchy most of the day I was a little worried that we were going to have more than one melt down while we were there. Overall, we had a great time, and it was nice to be out with friends.
