The Rest Of Our Trip...Finally!

Okay, I am going to try and finish up our trip in this post.
Friday, and Saturday after Thanksgiving we stayed with my sister in laws at their house. We just hung out, and the boys played A LOT of rock band.

Saturday night we went down to Orem to visit with Justin's other grandparent's and some of his cousins, aunts, and uncles. We also had dinner at Jamie's and got a chance to see her new place.

Sunday morning we woke up and we were getting ready to pack up the car when we got the call that Justin's Grandpa had passed away. We decided that we would stay the rest of the week instead of coming home and then having to go back just a few days later. So we put our stuff back, and then we headed down to Idaho to be with his Grandma for the day. Later that night we went back to Ogden to stay until the funeral.
Monday Jenna and Alisa went to work, and Madi went to school so I decided that I wanted to take the opportunity to see Megan while I was in Utah. We finally were able to meet up around 2:00. Justin was so nice and took her boys while we went and ran some errands, and just had some time to talk, and catch up. Thanks Megan for making the drive to see me, and for always being there for me:)! LOVE YA!!
When I got home everyone was there and ready to go get a Christmas tree. We all loaded up, and headed to the Christmas tree farm. The girls thought this was great. They even got to help pick it out, and then help cut it down...they loved it.

After we got the trees we went out to dinner, and a yummy pizza place. It was a really fun night!!

Tuesday we spent just hanging out. We did some shopping, some eating, and then Alisa wanted to decorate her tree with the girls. The girls had a great time, and couldn't wait to get home so they could decorate their own tree.

Wednesday we left to go back to Idaho. They were having a viewing that night so we wanted to be there for that. Thursday was the funeral. It was a very nice funeral. My Mother-in-law and her 4 siblings spoke, and then they had two musical numbers, and then Grandpa's sister spoke. Then they had all the grandchildren, and great grandchildren go up and sing, I am a Child of God, and Families Can Be Together Forever. It was a beautiful service.

Friday was the burial back down in Utah. We headed back down there in the morning, and then had lunch at Maddox's and then headed back up to Idaho. Yes, you are reading that right we made A LOT of trips back and forth between Idaho and Utah. We spent a good amount of time on this trip in the car, and put over 2,000 miles on our car. Anyway, we stayed the night in Idaho. Grandma Facer wanted everyone that was leaving to stay at her house. It was nice to spend one last night with her. Then we got up early Saturday morning and headed home.

And the best for last...Tegan, Grandma Great, and Scout before we left on Saturday

What a whirl-wind of a trip! I'm so glad that I got to see you, even if it was for a short time, and I do wish it was under different circumstances! I'm glad that you are FINALLY back home, safe and sound! Now on to redirecting your focus on CHRISTMAS!!! Cant' wait to (hopefully) see you again in just a few weeks when we are up North for Christmas!
