More Family Fun!

On Monday after the 4th Justin, Leonard, Austin, Calvin, and Scout took off with Justin's family for a jeeping trip overnight in the mountains. They were all excited to go, and that left my sister, Duran, Scout, and my parent's. My parents were only going to stay a little while. They had some things they wanted to do before heading back to my grandma's house. The first thing we did is go get Scout a new mattress for her bed. My parent's bought the girls bunk bed , and got Tegan's mattress, but at the time we were going to put Scout in the toddler bed so she we didn't get her mattress yet. Well after a year and a half we finally felt it was time to get hers so that was the first thing to get done. Scout LOVES her new bed, thanks mom, and dad! After the mattress was taken care of a trip to Costco was next. It was nice to spend the day with my parents have not have a lot of commotion. We really enjoyed their visit and were sad to see them go. After they left we just hung out the rest of the evening. Tuesday night after the guys got home my sister and I went to the movies with Justin's mom, Jenna, Alisa, and Lindsey. It was nice to get out for awhile. The rest of the week was spend getting stuff done that my sister wanted to do. They left on Friday, and it was sad to see them go. We really enjoyed their visit, and we ate really well while my sister was here because she is a great cook. Thanks guys for coming to see us!!

Friday after they left we packed and headed to the cabin where Justin's family was staying for the rest of the weekend. Justin really wanted to spend a little more time with his sister's before they went back to Utah. Friday night we just hung out around the fire, and then Saturday morning we got up and got ready to go jeeping. We did a trail that they had all done before, and that was more scenic. It was enjoyable, and we all had a great time.

I didn't get a lot of pictures on this trip, but hopefully I will get some copies of the events in a small town we stopped in. They had a climbing wall that Justin climbed, and a chicken chase that was the funniest thing I had ever seen. They had all kids chase these 3 little chickens, and whoever caught them got a prize. It was seriously the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life. The girls loved it too. So hopefully I will get some pictures of all of that to share.
