We were so excited for today! For one, I was excited that the sun was supposed to shine, and there wasn't suppose to be any snow or rain...happy day! We got ready, and at 10:30 our friends came over so that we could go to the Easter Egg Hunt together. We went to the same one we went to last year, and it didn't disappoint. We had a great time! When we first got there we let the kids get their faces painted. Tegan got her face painted like a little bunny, and she looked adorable. Scout just wanted a little flower on her cheek which was also cute. Then we got some balloons for the kiddos, which was probably a mistake since the wind was blowing, and they were all over the place, but oh well, it was fun for the kids! Then we found out that they had FREE food so we of course went and got in line for some food...who can pass up free food? As soon as we got done eatting the hunt started so we went over and got ready for that. The kids made out with a TON of candy. Tegan's basket was so full she couldn't even carry it herself. After the hunt we headed home to get some things done before the Yates came over for dinner. The big thing we had to do was color our easter eggs. The girls had fun doing that, and did such a great job. I think only one egg was broken in the whole process!:) Later the Yates came over and we had pizza and played Kinect. It was a great day spent with my wonderful family, and amazing friends!
