Island Park...

This last weekend we went to Island Park with all of Justin's family to celebrate his dad's 60th Birthday. The girls left Friday night with Justin's parents so that they could have more time with the cousins, and spend more time with everyone. It was so hard for me to let them go with Justin not here. I was talking to Scout about the plan for her to go with Grandma and Grandpa to see if she would be okay with going, and she said, "will you cry, mom?" I smiled, and said, "no." when really I wanted to say yes, and I did! Thankfully I was able to go to dinner with Jessica, and then she invited me over to play games. So that was a nice distraction.

The plan was for Justin to fly in Saturday morning, and we would leave right after and head to Island Park. Well, when he got to the airport he called me and told me that his plane was grounded because of fog. His plan wouldn't be leaving until some time later that morning, if at all. Luckily he knew someone on the flight, and he had to be in Billings for another flight so they just drove here. Driving still put us behind, and we weren't even able to get out until 1:30-2:00. We got up there just in time to eat, celebrate his birthday, then go to bed. Sunday we just hung out around the cabin. The kids, and the adult men played out in the snow, sledding, and snowmobiling. They all had a lot of fun. We hung around to watch the Super Bowl, and then drove home when it was over. It was a super quick trip, and a LONG one for Justin, but it was a good weekend. Here are some pictures from our time there.

What a wild weekend! I can't wait to hear more about having Justin home! Glad you had a safe (and quick) trip! Your girls do seem to have quiet the moves! :)
