Justin and I had to opportunity to take another trip to Las Vegas. Allstate was doing a little competition, and Justin won us both tickets to go. We were so excited, and were ready for some time away. Justin's dad came and stayed with the girls, and my friend Jessie helped out after school, and with so many of the girls activities. I am so grateful to have a great friend that I can leave the girls with and feel comfortable.
We left on Tuesday at got to Vegas at 10:30 in the morning. I booked that flight on purpose so that we could have some time before the meetings started. My mom was going to be in Vegas as well so we called her, and she took us to Serendipity for lunch. It was great to see her since I haven't seen her since Thanksgiving. After lunch she dropped us back off at our hotel so that we could get ready for the opening reception. The reception was at the Mix restaurant on top of the Mandalay Bay(the hotel we stayed at). It was beautiful, and the food was AMAZING!! It was just a reception to get to meet other Allstate agents that qualified, and eat. After dinner we went and walked around the casino and shops for a little bit. Wednesday we had breakfast starting at 7, and then meetings starting at 9:00. We were in meetings until about 2:00 then we had some time before we had to meet the other agents for dinner before heading to David Copperfield. Since we only had a couple of hours till dinner we decided to stay around the hotel so we got tickets to the shark reef. We had a good time walking through looking at the fish. We had dinner at RM Seafood with the other agents before heading to David Copperfield. David Copperfield was great, and so fun to watch! We were entertained the whole time. I definitely recommend seeing him if you ever have the chance because it really was amazing! Thursday we started with breakfast, and meetings again. Then we had the rest of the day to do what we wanted. The first night we met a couple from Texas that we hit it off with, so we ended up meeting them and walking the strip. We shopped a little for our kids, and just enjoyed walking around watching people. We stopped for dinner in the Venetian before heading back to our hotel.
Friday we they provided breakfast for us again, and then we waited around for the shops in the Hotel to open because Allstate had given Justin and I $200 to spend, and we had to finish spending it before we checked out of the hotel. We got a few things for us, and then some gifts for the girls. We then headed to the airport. We really had such an amazing time! The meetings weren't boring, and we got to eat some amazing food, and meet some great people.
